As someone passionate about building products, I created Hologram to explore how AI could transform recruiting. The core question: What if we could better understand a candidate's potential beyond their resume?
Hologram represents my vision for human-centered AI in recruiting. By combining video intelligence, natural language processing, and behavioral analysis, I designed a platform that sees candidates as complete individuals, not just keywords on a resume.
This product exploration focused on understanding human communication through AI. I prototyped features that analyze not just what candidates say, but how they say it—their passion, problem-solving approach, and cultural fit. The interfaces were designed to create comfortable, authentic experiences that bring out the best in candidates while giving recruiters better insights.
I reimagined the candidate profile to tell a complete story. Beyond traditional resume data, this interface surfaces personality insights, communication style, and cultural alignment—all derived from AI analysis of interview interactions.
The design prioritizes actionable insights: skill assessments are visual and comparative, experience is contextualized with actual examples from interviews, and the AI's confidence levels are transparently displayed. This helps recruiters make informed decisions quickly while maintaining the human element in hiring.
The interview recording interface showcases real-time AI analysis in action. I designed a system that transcribes, analyzes sentiment, identifies key moments, and generates insights—all while the interview is happening.
The split-view design allows recruiters to see the candidate while reviewing AI-generated insights. Color-coded sentiment analysis, automatic highlight detection, and smart summaries transform hours of review into minutes of focused evaluation. I designed the video submission interface to reduce anxiety and bring out authentic responses. Candidates can record at their convenience, re-record if needed, and present their best selves without the pressure of live interviews.
